Fastboot dependency whitelisting about ember-fetch HOT 5 CLOSED

Any more thoughts on whether requiring fetch is an anticipated requirement?

I ran into this issue recently and found my way here by mainmatter/ember-simple-auth#1138 and mainmatter/ember-simple-auth#1420, and I can also confirm that adding "fetch" as a fastboot dependency solved it.

@jobackman I'm wondering whether it's actually to do with a bad implementation of fastbootDependencies in the Ember Simple Auth package.json.

Check out an issue I resolved over at ember-poland/ember-md5#3 that pertains to this.

ESA perhaps should move its fastbootDependencies into the ember-addon object to ensure node-fetch is built properly into the fastboot manifest?

I've tried adding both:

    "fetch"
  ],

&

    "node-fetch"
  ],

neither works for me (running fastboot locally in dev env with usual ember s)

This should be fixed by doing ember install ember-fetch at app.
