Emacs Selects C++ Mode by Mistake about php-mode HOT 2 CLOSED

This seems to be a problem solely on my end, caused by an error in a function I wrote an attached to c-mode-hook, which means Emacs calls it when it activates php-mode. If no one else complains about this issue I will close it in a few days.

I am closing this because I know for a fact now that it was my own dot-emacs file causing the problem. I have this function:

Previously it did not check the file extension of the buffer. It only searched for the string 'namespace' so if it found that in a PHP file it would change to C++ mode, which was not what I wanted. I can find no problem in php-mode itself related to this, so it appears to just be a screw-up on my end.
