Unknown option: status-utf8 about tmuxline.vim HOT 4 OPEN

Using set -gq instead of set -g will silence the unknown option error, while still setting it on old versions of tmux. However, the last commit on this repo is from two years ago, so I'm not sure if you should get your hopes up.

Thank you very much for your answer. Indeed, the problem comes from the update of tmux. Since the new version, status-utf8 is useless. That's the reason why I'd like the maintainer to disable this option :)

I started getting this warning after updating from tmux 2.1 to 2.2. Reference.

The maintainer probably won't fix this as much more many users are on older tmux version and this line is needed in those versions, anyway i've come up with a fix, it's really simple, just go into {whateverroute}/tmuxline.vim/autoload/ and edit tmuxline.vim, there should be a line that looks kinda like:

\ 'status-utf8' : 'on'}

remove that and close the bracket and you are done.
