@remram44 cpp-coveralls just simply call gcov and collect the results. You might need to refer to gocv manual.

gcov doesn't have an option that does this, as far as I can tell.

I see that you try to support LCOV_EXCL_LINE, however this regex should be r'\bLCOV_EXCL_LINE\b' (in particular, C-like comments /* ... */ break it). There is also no support for LCOV_EXCL_START/END. I'll see if I can write you a PR for that :)
