It seems that you are using clang, which does not support gcov to collect coverage report.

It did work with clang when I manually run gcov. But I found the issue (just wanted to verify it first). I'm using lcov on top of gcov for formatting and this doesn't support lcov. I'll just work on something issue for lcov.
