Enter Password about cordova-plugin-touch-id HOT 7 CLOSED

Hi, good questions.

The UI is presented by iOS and (at the moment) cannot be altered by an app (or plugin for that matter) so the 'Enter passcode' button can't be removed. Clicking it should result in a specific error code being sent to your callback so you can present a (native or HTML based) password dialog yourself. iOS does not support some magic 5-digit code popup thingy once you press that button (to my knowledge at least).

Hi Eddy,
I added the plugin. The first screen I get does not show the "Enter Passcode" button. If my fingerprint does not match then a second screen opens with the "Enter Passcode" option. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Hans, that may be the default these days - what do other Touch ID enabled apps show as the first screen (make sure the attempt before was OK).

Yeah, in the error callback you'll get the objective-c errorcode and localized description of this list of errors

I verified that user is first asked to touch, then if that fails, either "Enter Passcode" or "Enter Password" option appears.
