I agree, I'm considering passing in an extra options object which can contain optional settings for reminders and repeating events. It won't be in the plugin shortly, but let's keep this issue open as a reminder. Thx!

another thing if you don't mind..right now I am trying to pass date and time using the html5 datetime type..it works but the format is different..I am trying things but wanted to ask if you played around with it like that..
html5 format is yyyy-mm-ddThh:mm:ss
and yours is in the yyyy,dd,.... comma format..

Is it null or "" for doing "never" repeat option?

Android implementation done as well (recurring events with an optional enddate).

You just don't set the property if you don't want a recurring event. It's null by default, so use that if you still want to set it to something.

I can't do a build based on 4.2.4, phone gap doesn't recognize.

It's pending review, I hope they get it reviewed swiftly, but they're quite slow lately.
