👍 I just played around with starscope in ruby and it's awesome. I would love having this for coffeescript.

The problem is I don't know much about coffeescript - I played with various ways to import existing parsers for this (see the referenced PR) but gave up before I really got anywhere. I documented the process for adding new languages, so if anybody else wants to take this on I'd be happy to help: https://github.com/eapache/starscope/blob/master/doc/LANGUAGE_SUPPORT.md

I no longer use any coffeescript projects, and it seems to be less popular as a language in general. Closing as wont-fix.
