You mean the leisure room in the basement rather than what we're using as the 'play room' currently, right?

Sure. Why not.

I'm more concerned about adding extra shelves to the already cluttered office. Need a different issue to discuss its purpose going forward.

What we have been calling the "Leisure" room will eventually just be called "Play".
It's the room that already has a Piano and will have the "amphitheatre" for mini concerts.
But this is all distracting semantics.

Measured out all the holes for the 4 guitar hangers last night. And prepared the area to drill:

Can only do the drilling when everyone is awake.
It will take T4min to drill the 8 holes. πŸ•³οΈβ³

These are the guitar hangers we have:
Hercules GSP38WBK Plus

they are locking safety hangers which means the guitars can’t accidentally be bumped off. πŸ‘Œ
got them for insanely cheap during BlackFriday.

Yes the box is dusty. Will be opening this 4th one and mounting the acoustic Fender if this proposal moves forward.

Measuring the Guitars at their widest point to know how much space to leave between them:

it’s amazing how much of a parallax error taking a photo of a tape measure gives … πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

Going to rest them on a flat surface, measure the widest point and then will list the measures. ⏳

Was going to start putting these up now, but it’s stopped raining so I’m heading outside to finish the safety netting for Aft Deck. πŸ‘Œ

Aft Deck is at 98% completion. Requires a(nother) trip to Leroy to complete… so looking at this again. πŸ‘Œ

Width of the wall is 1530mm which is enough space for 4 guitars. 🎸
Going to have plot the position of the first one now so I can drill the holes tomorrow morning when I can make noise. πŸ‘Œ

FYI/BTW: placed them as high up as possible so that
A: children cannot easily reach (remove) them πŸ‘Ά
B: they are out of the way but still easily accessed by adults πŸ‘Œ
C: leaves plenty of space for the next stage in the project! #275
