There has been some internal discussion about it since. As mentioned above, the initial intent of this repo was simply to have a single updated kernel, but it has since outgrown that, I would say.

We're currently undergoing some major architectural changes that will also allow for older kernels, and then I will un-revert the change.

(And yeah, even if we do start hosting relics of the past, we should not add malware such as the DSTT kernel just because it's "preservation", it is malware and it should be yeeted)

Added back most of these except the M3 stuff (and obviously the DSTT stuff). The M3 stuff will be worked on later.

Trying to work out how I can commonize the same set of files across both m3adapter.com and gbalpha.com

Hello,

lifehackerhansol seems to have reverted nearly most of my changes. Could you explain why only half of it is there and not the rest?

You included DSTT clone-killer kernels, which is extremely dangerous to have. We want those kernels to be gone and stay gone. Especially when the fixed RGF TTMenu exists in the YSMenu download.

Next, there are a bunch of old outdated kernels that were included in the PR, that shouldn't really be used by end users.

Initially, Hansol intended for the archive to host the most recent and most compatible kernel for each cart, whether that be the official one or a community kernel. For example, you'll find that only WoodR4 1.62 is hosted for OG R4, even though it has other kernels like the original R4DS kernel.

This may change however, and a full archive may be implemented where old, non-recommended kernels would be stored in a clearly labeled "old" directory.
