v0.30 Digital noise when nothing captured about dsview HOT 5 CLOSED

Arduino TX connected to channel 1 (arduino output is monitored in the serial monitor)
Arduino GND connected to GND probe
Only channel 1 enabled.
Arduino pushing continuous char 'a' to the uart TX pin
Start capture => captured only the noise.
Happens only on linux - can't reproduce on win. On win I capture no data at all...
Why I can't se any serial activity???

Does v0.21 version have the same issue?
If you enable all channles in v0.3 version, Is there also have this issue?

When all channels are enabled, I get only HIGH signal on probe 1 and no noise (but of course I capture no useful

data)
On the screenshot, you can see there is a serial traffic in the serial monitor, the channel 1 is showing high but nothing else. The probes are hooked to the ftdi converter which is used to communicate with the arduino and to display the output in the serial monitor.
I am not sure about version 0.21 as I was always getting such noise as you can see in my previous issues I raised.
Could you please instruct me how to do an external test so I am sure my unit is ok?

It needs a function generator hardware to perform the external test. Can your unit pass the internal test @100MHz sample rate?
According to the debugging info in the command lines. It seems you don't have a right v0.3 version of DSLogic software.
Have you done the install steps in INSTALL file without any error message?
