@dsherret I'd be interested in contributing to this project for the issues I created today. Is there any documentation to help me get started? Even just a means of debugging would help get me off the ground.

I think you're looking for "nextControlFlowPosition": "nextLine", which is already implemented:
This also has AST specific config like "doWhileStatement.nextControlFlowPosition": "sameLine",
