Add apphook and plugins for django-cms about django-portfolio HOT 3 CLOSED

Can this be done without creating a hard dependency on django-cms? I have never used it as it does wayyyy more than what I'd like an app to do. However, if you could bring in a patch that creates no hard dependencies and doesn't break any existing functionality I would be okay with it.

If a hard dependency is required, that would imply a no-go for this one.

There's no pretty way to do it without a hard dependency on django-cms. And you're right, there's no reason to have this dependency.

The right way is to have a separate package dependent on both django-cms and django-portfolio as a reusable django app with only cms plugin and apphook. Using their naming convention it would look like cmsplugin_django_portfolio (or cmsplugin_portfolio but it's already taken).
