Hi Matej.
The current version of Docsplit supports Tesseract 3.0 perfectly well. In fact we're planning to roll out 3.0 for DocumentCloud shortly.
On the other hand, Docsplit currently forces extracted text into English, and ASCII, in order to run it's text cleanup. I'd be glad to accept any patches that make Docsplit's language configurable, if you're interested in going that route.
