This one is tricky. Anyway, it is a good chance to get the current logic rewritten in ObjectManager logic only (without DQL). @bycosta can you give it a try? Otherwise I'll have the issue pending for a while...

Yeah, i agree, this one is tricky but I will try!
But I'm new at ZF2+DT2, so could you be more specific about writing ObjectManager logic?

ObjectManager means you are EntityManager agnostic, and just write all the logic knowing only of the interface at https://github.com/doctrine/common/blob/master/lib/Doctrine/Common/Persistence/ObjectManager.php , which allows the code to be used with all ORMs/ODMs based on Doctrine Common ;)
