Agreed - I'm not sure how renovate works, but maybe it only considers it a CI failure if required status checks (via branch protection rules) fail?

I encountered this error just now when trying to install dsc from the flake. Indeed, using inputs.dsc.url = "github:docspell/dsc/ed093fab9e511a14086e0df9ae36883f99f15dd9"; (the commit that @antifuchs mentioned, the last one where checks succeeded) was a suitable workaround for me.

I just had the same problem when installing via the flake and was able to solve it by pinning to ed093fa too.
