I might be able to do this, but there are a few open PRs that should probably be merged first (especially #113), to not create too many merge conflicts...

@snewcomer sorry for the late answer. It looks good to me at first sight, but I am not able to really review this thoroughly. Also because I don't really know much about the IntersectionObserver stuff unfortunately...
