In my environment, the reported error does not occur.

I have been investigating the problem. It looks like the problem occurs when the user id is large and the Docker backend storage driver is devicemapper

We can see the docker backend using docker info command.

$docker info
...
Storage Driver: devicemapper

Following the report in a project. I made a fix and already merged into the master branch.

Fixed version 5087991 worked in my environment !

I also thought the large uid was causing the problem.

But, Storage Driver is overlay2.

$ docker info
...
Storage Driver: overlay2
