An application that allows you to reserve or book a hotel room and saves all reservations and bookings in a DynamoDb database for future retrieval and/or manipulation.

music-playlist-service

A service application that allows you to create or modify your own custom playlist that will retrieve lists of song metadata by id number, and allow you to finely control how you want the playlist to behave. This application is integrated with AWS Lambda to initialize the code.

photo-filter-application

An application that applies various different kinds and calibers of photo filters to a photo of your choosing.. It manipulates pictures pixel by pixel to achieve the desired result.

poker-player-application

An application that simulates a poker game by drawing random cards from a regular deck and allows you to play a card after which it calculates if you win or lose. Uses many different high level algorithms to achieve this.

reroll-website

A website made from scratch as a personal project. It allows you create a randomly generated character with detailed personality and physical traits as well as a backstory chosen randomly for you to be used in any role playing game of your choosing. This website has been integrated with a database in DynamoDb and intiallized with AWS Lambda.

reviewtalize-the-assignment-review-app

This Java-based web app lets reviewers assess assignments from students. The backend was built using Spring Boot, Spring Security using PostgreSQL to store data. The front-end was built with React, Axios, Thymeleaf, HTML, and CSS. The app includes secure logins and a responsive design.

sustainable-shipping-service

An application that chooses the best packaging option in relation to the dimensions and weight of the item being shipped. This helps in cutting down waste as well as decreasing the cost of shipping. It brings together two passions of mine: code and sustainability.

text-adventure-game

A text based adventure game that leads you through one of many storyline progression pathways based on your choices in previous parts of the story. This started off as a pet project that eventually took on a life of its own.
