I purchased a M8 on Reverb a couple weeks ago. I've been playing around with presets, learning my way around it and everything was going fine until today when I tried to open a new project to start from scratch. I create a new chain, and a new phrase but when I press play, it doesn't start scrolling. I tried updating the firmware but it still isn't working.

i'm on 2.7.5

I'm having issues when previewing long samples in the sampler instrument. It repeats the first 500ms from the sample and then plays a short piece of the beginning of the sample. If I want to hear the rest of the sample I need to load it in the sample editor.

is that a glitch or is previewing long samples just not possible ? My first guess would be the SD card speed. I'm using the sd card that came with my m8 ...

Been scratching my head trying to figure out how to get RMX working.

I have watched the youtube channel latest 3.0 but couldn't figure RMX out still...prob coz I am getting old :)

Went to check the manual and noticed there is nothing in there for RMX

Hey, amazing device. Everything seems well thought out and intuitive.

One pain point, though, is having to navigate to the project page and then to the save button every time I want to save. Every other device I use has some split-second shortcut I can commit to muscle memory so I never have to interrupt what I'm doing and can save instinctively before trying anything potentially destructive.

I don't know if you have any unused shortcut combos left or if this exists and just isn't in the manual but if possible this would make the workflow much smoother.

i have a m1pro 14" with latest software and tyUploader crashes when clicking the uplaod button. I was able to update when 3.0.0 came out on this very same laptop. Any alternative methods available ?

I updated my M8 with the latest firmware when it was first released, and it did seem to improve the battery life initially, but I've noticed in the last few days that my battery dies much quicker now (every 4-5 hrs before and now closer to 2.5-3 hrs.) I also noticed that my battery gauge drops very quickly upon unplugging it from a charger. The battery meter remains on the last quarter charge for most of the time that the M8 is on.

Hello , i have an issue with the last update the TyUploader said the .hex is only compatible with teensy 4.0 and 4.0 beta

Tempo on side bar is displaying one less than on a project screen (picture taken via M8 Display for ease of screenshots)

Since the new firmware update the slice command does not do anything when I put an lfo (ramp up, retriggered ) on loopstart with loop length = 0. This works in the 2.7.7 firmware.

Midi out seems to be nonfunctional. last working version (for Midi out) seems to be M8_V2_0_6B.

TyUpdater cannot upload the hex file.

when I try to upload 2.5.0E. I'm on a macbook pro with big sur..
