I'll give Maui a quick spin and see where we are at.

Despite my best efforts I haven't been able to get any of the Maui sample code bases to run! I have tried two official ones:
Neither would build, let alone launch.
I used the maui-check app to ensure my system was all set up and ready to go, but still no luck.
I'll give up here for now. I would say this isn't ready for prime time yet.
It might be worth revisiting at a later time once it has been fully launched or is closer to release.

I have also looked at MAUI but it looks undercooked at the moment. I'm not sure how they will manage to release this year...
