Thanks for give a try to the library and the comments.
In the previous version of the library, the behavior of expanding a POST
was implemented. With the evolution of the new versions and trying to improve the calls to the backend (entity framework in my case) adjusting the generation of URLs to the convention in:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/developer/data-platform/webapi/update-delete-entities-using-web-api#update-with-data-returned
Rereading this I find that for the POST
the expand is allowed,
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/developer/data-platform/webapi/create-entity-web-api#create-with-data-returned
...so its proposal is clearly an feature that is missing today and implementing it is very simple.
Regarding expanding everything, initially it was a choice to look for a query language that was similar to the queries on mongodb
, thinking about being able to manipulate the queries and eventually persist them as json.
That is why I took the code from:
https://github.com/techniq/odata-query
I am quite satisfied with the result obtained in terms of query modeling, some features are missing but it is a matter of continuing to work. Any contribution is welcome.
