MS Teams is what we are going with. There are a few quirks but we can work around them. We can initiate a video call from the Channels at any time, anyone in the team can join. In order to help multiple people at the same time we'll have additional channels A & B so that more calls can happen.
Chats from calls do end up back in the channels.
MS Teams desktop presenting seems adequate - will remind participants to leave video and mics off during presentations.
