Thansk for chiming in ! I'm not particularily biased to any library and don't have much of an idea about it. I'd say get some more opinions in and do it :) Can't read the post right now as I'm on mobile. Maybe poke the developer of the crawler

Using requests would be as simple as this

import requests
from bs4 import BeautifulSoup
import json

url = requests.get('http://www.starbucks.com/menu/catalog/product?drink=brewed-coffee#view_control=product')

content = url.content

soup = BeautifulSoup(content, "html.parser")

Also seems like you forgot to add Beautifulsoup to the requirements.txt
These lines would need to be added

beautifulsoup4
requests

from coffeerecommendationbot.
