@turadg just hacked something together that let's us do something, sorta like that: https://github.com/chap/heroku-pg-transfer

heroku pg:transfer --from gray::myapp --to maroon::myapp-staging --confirm myapp-staging

It requires that you know the postgres urls or colors for each app.

It's pretty ugly and will probably break with any heroku updates, but it's a start. I hope to have time to better use their api when I get a chance.

Thanks for the start, Chap! Is there a way to query the app for its
database colors names? In case there's exactly one, that value could be
assumed.
