I can do that, but I'm still working with Java 7, so I can't test it enough.

I don't get the question. The binary you get from dcevm.github.io does support Oracle JVM. The difference between "light" and "full" is that "full" supports more features. Given that codebase of "full" is pretty bad and hard to maintain, I doubt that there ever will be version for Java 8. It needs to be reimplemented on top of "light" patch, taking one feature at a time from "full" patch for Java 7.

Sorry, full version will be not supported for java_version >=8 due complexity and limited human resources. Any volunteer ?
