I tried used the Update 60 patches against jdk7u65-b32 and it seemed to work well on update 67. It looks like update 67 only has one fix in it, so presumably the JVM hasn't changed since update 65. Because I couldn't find a tag for update 67 in hg log

I'm using the dcevm u60 lib for openjdk u65 without problem too. May be we can add some new entries for compatible versions into hotspot /.hg /patches/series

we tried it and it caused our JDK's to be usable. (i.e. you could not even do java --version) so there is possibly some issues there. who knows it could be where we install it, but other versions we have had before this (JDK 7 update 25 for instance) were fine in that same location
