When we parallelize reconstruction we can report the progress after each node finishes a chunk. On top of that we could have a sort of StillAliveListener or atleast a mixin class for listeners so that they print to stdout periodically (#140, see notes on the report module). This should help staying alive during Travis builds for example.

I'm also looking to make ProgressBar and ProgressMap (2d representation of reconstruction progress) reporting modes, both of these should be very suited to report progress

from bsb-core.

Addressed in #817. Both the NonTTYTerminalListener and TTYTerminalListener report progress, and have a timeout ping. The TTYTerminalListener also estimates how long each job will take

from bsb-core.
