@alberto-antonietti was it you who ran into this? Any more details? Or @claudiacasellato? I remember someone running into it and basically just removing this?

Yes, we just removed it.

In which configuration file? I will try to reproduce and solve this

Fuck, that's a problem :D @claudiacasellato we need to include this in our config and modify our network structure (we don't need to fully recompile, we just need to polish some connection types)
from bsb-core.
(We renamed GolgiAxonFix
to MissingAxon
because it's a frequently occurring problem in modelling)
So this was caused because of the strange role of the golgi_to_glomerulus
connection; it's a connection type that only generates cell connection pairs but they are never used. They are only there so that golgi_to_granule
can check through the cell IDs of golgi_to_glomerulus
and glomerulus_to_granule
which cells to connect. Other types that involve an element without a morphology usually use the SpoofDetails
hook to create fake compartmental data, but because this conn is never used it was not added there and the detailed connection information is missing and we bump into this error.
I propose to emit a ConnectivityWarning
like "MissingAxon hook skipped '{connection_type}', detailed connection information is missing."
. If necessary we can add a mechanism to include/exclude types from the MissingAxon
hook in the future.
