The tentative plan is to stick with Manifest v2 for the near future which means soon only available on Firefox. This will both encourage users to move to Firefox (a browser that respects your privacy and autonomy more than Chromium based browsers) and limit the rate at which people try out our product initially while we work through bugs and scaling.
Eventually we'll likely provide a Manifest v3 version, despite our apprehension about the changes included in Manifest v3, but we don't have an ETA yet.
We'll leave this issue open for tracking in case people want to subscribe to updates.
