Let's prioritize this for next week and work through it with a DCAF volunteer.

@mebates Hey Mollie these wires are super super rough but give you a sense of the flow we worked out. I'll post a new ai file to the design folder. Happy to touch base on any of this.

User starts by hitting the "create pledge" button. That pops up a modal that prompts them to review the key information that will get populated in the word doc pledge form (I have a sample of what this looks like).

Once the user is happy with the data that will go into the pledge form they click continue and see this page which shows a preview of the populated form. If they are happy they can click the "Create Now" button or "Go Back" which takes them back to the Confirm data page in the modal. THey can also click the x to quit at any point.

The "Create Now" button prompts the download of the word doc and users see this final set of instructions which tells them to go to the online fax site to submit the pledge and lets them indicate whether they actually submit. Note: We'll need to adjust status here from "pledge sent" to two statuses - pledge created and pledge sent" The modal remains onscreen until the user actively quits it.

Great!

  • On the 'confirm' modal, will the user be able to edit those fields or will they have to cancel to go back and edit?
  • Will the word document autopopulate with the right information (that would be sweet!)
  • Veer towards left aligning text instead of center aligning
  • With the 'go back' button, does it go to the previous modal screen? Is it weird to navigate forwards and backwards in modals? I wonder if these should be their own screens. But the modals might work ...

Thanks for getting this moving! BIG STRIDES!

I think we can safely call this resolved -- we've got these represented in https://github.com/colinxfleming/dcaf_case_management/blob/master/_design/DCAFwireframe052416.pdf . Closing it out.

Fabulous work @adinneen and @mebates !
