I can confirm this problem happens not only related to synched bases, but also with local bases. Example: Imported a pdf-file, it opens in my browser window. If I delete it in the tree-view directly (i.e. without selecting first something else in the tree-view), I get this access denies error, and an invalid entry in the "Calculate size" option. Solution: ShowFiles, delete the file manually and then the invalid entry. Guess it happens when the pdf-viewer didn't release the handle or whatever.
Hope this helps.

@mirceglavni Thank you for the report. Do all files in the folder (including the PDF file that is opened in the browser window) get removed when it happens?

Not sure what you mean by "when it happens", just checked it with the following steps:

  1. Imported a pdf file via drag&drop to the treeview.
  2. Selected the pdf, it showed in the browser window.
  3. Right click on the pdf in the tree-view, delete. Got error message "Failed to remove....[path to my scrapbook x folder"....Component returned...."NS_ERROR_FILE_IS_LOCKED....". However, the entry in the treeview vanished.
  4. Went to Calculate Size, found 1 invalid entry; ShowFiles, found 3 files in the folder: the pdf, index.dat and index.html.
  5. Deleted the files, checked again with Calculate Size and everything was fine.

This used to happen with the original Scrapbook as well (and Scrapbook+), however the message was somewhat different (Access Denied if I recall correctly).
