M-p and M-n are not reserved by GNU Emacs actually but many users may use them as global key bindings for their purpose.

Since ghc-mod is a kind of minor mode, ghc-mod should reserve "C-c" + "one key" as prefix. But this is very inconvenient. If I wrote a new Haskell mode, I could use "C-c" freely. But I don't think I have enough time to do so. What I can say at this moment is "please re-define key-bindings if you dislike the default keybindings". As you can see, all key bindings can be set by setq.

BTW, ghc-mod does not override M-/.
