Cannot install Kotlin Danger neither from git clone or ssh about kotlin HOT 6 OPEN

I'm having this same issue.

General error during semantic analysis: Unsupported class file major version 62

This is happening as the .jar of Danger Kotlin has been built with Java 18 as target. I'm not sure this was intended as forcing all the users to be on Java 18 is a hard requirement.

I see that the publishing CI is configured to build with Java 8 so I'm not sure why this error is happening

i think i saw the error during the work for the M1 compatibility and i've upgraded java.. this PR still has one small thing to fix then is good to go, could you please try to install directly from that branch and let me know if that solves the issue?

Yeah it might. Have you built the binary from your machine and uploaded it manually for the last release? If so, this could be the case

Our Mac has not an M1 processor. We have tried @gianluz change but We are still facing the same issue.
Here you can see our mac JDK and gradle configuration, might be this the issue? Thx, Paolo :)

I've tried it and it works fine for me 👍 Still it's not really portable + it requires re-clone & re-build for every version update.
