@gussmith23 Based on my understanding, you want to customize the installation directory for cvc5, using a non-standard location like /home/user/cvc5
, via the configure.sh
script. After building and installing the cvc5 binaries and libraries, you intend to relocate the entire /home/user/cvc5/
directory to a different location, such as /home/user/new-cvc5/
. Despite this move, you expect that the binary /home/user/new-cvc5/bin/cvc5
will still be able to locate the libraries in the new directory at /home/user/new-cvc5/lib/
. Is that correct?

It doesn't. We have recently begun publishing zipped cvc5 releases. For the dynamically linked version, you need to either put the libraries in a standard location or add the location to LD_LIBRARY_PATH. I agree this isn't ideal, so I'll look into making the build relocatable.
