There's a way to add a button with this https://github.com/igrigorik/hackernews-button but the design doesn't fit with the current social buttons

Can we get a designer to make a more proper button design?

meaning: HN has an algorithm that detects which posts are promoted by
external sources, and which are promoted by the same (has to do with the
URL you are accessing to upvote).

Would this affect it?

I think It might be worth the shot, just to see if people post it on HN
with the click of a button.

Well, if we submit the post by ourselves, visitors will only see the upvote icon and not the submit one

Not really sure if that matters: will look into that point
