How will the server enable or disable the authentication ? Is the parameter for enabling/disabling authentication, username, and password will be passed to WebSocketServerFactory ?

One option: first request authentication in onConnect() providing auth domain. Then, when client comes back a second time with auth info, again check in onConnect().

We won't implement that within Autobahn ("reinvent the wheel"). If needed, one can run Autobahn within Twisted Web and use the auth mechanisms available there. Another option we have implemented in the meantime: WAMP-CRA, which is challenge-response authentication for WAMP sessions.
