A difference I notice in your log is that your Directory doesn't have a trailing backslash which it should have, can you try downloading the latest version again? https://github.com/crashfort/SourceDemoRender/releases

Okay, well, interestingly enough, redownloading it actually worked this time... I guess that's how it goes when you finally ask for help lol, problem just kinda fixes through the most obvious solution you've tried a hundred times.
I'm now launching the game fine, however when I try to "startmovie [name]" it gives me this error:
] startmovie testmovie
SDR: Could not allocate output context for "F:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Source\movies\testmovie"
Tried with all sorts of different output directories.
Should I be creating a new ticket for that, or is it something blatant that I've missed?

You need to have a file extension, the available ones are written in the readme.
