If I do this I get good results
from pytket.extensions.qiskit import AerBackend
b = AerBackend() # connect to the backend
b.compile_circuit(c) # compile the circuit to satisfy the backend's requirements
counts = b.get_counts(c,100)
print(counts)
Counter({(1, 0): 52, (0, 0): 48})
from pytket-docs.
Hi, thanks for the report. Apologies, the "getting started" page has become a little outdated. We will be largely removing it in the next release, as the user manual is now the best place to get an introduction to pytket.
The preferred way now to get the counts is via a BackendResult
object:
handle = b.process_circuit(c, 100)
res = b.get_result(handle)
counts = res.get_counts()

Thanks Alex!
