Maybe let's make this one a low priority since we are working to remove anaconda anyway (which should remove the need for virt-install I believe.

There is also the anaconda/netinst ISO which is still at F28. Can we tackle that here too?

Yes, I am planning to move everything to F29 while working on this issue.

I can pick-up this issue unless someone is already working on it.

Something changed in the virt-install stack, when I was trying to use c-a in my (now) f29 dev container it failed to load the ISO.

Going to take a crack at embedding the "install tree" layout instead.

Looks like there are a ton of changes in virt-install; e.g. virt-manager/virt-manager@11d1cbd
virt-manager/virt-manager@8ff2043

what does that mean? I know andrew has been working on "removing anaconda from the equation".

Interesting, I tried couple of days back to use F29 in container build and was hitting issues at virt-install. I wasn't sure that time whether I am doing something wrong or something has changed in F29 virt stack. Thanks for the link!

Tried a fix in #225 but it didn't quite work in my first pass, have to do other things.

Yeah, though this is a daily annoyance now for me since my main dev container is 29. May try the bottlecap approach though for development.

I wasn't sure if there was an actual bug here or if the change in behavior was by design.
