+1 to this. The plugin is great! It works very well except that it saves to the album which for the user will be annoying if he tries to take a picture and have both original and resized image in the camera roll.

I have made a branch which solves this on ios. You might want to check it out. I did not make a PR since it changes the behaviour, and only on iOS for now.

Does it only save the preview image?

It saves both preview and original, for now. But it saves them to your applications folder, not to the gallery.

I would actually like if it only saved the original image, and did not try to do much more than that. If the developer want's a preview, then they can fix that themselves, or possibly provide a method that creates a preview for them. Eg.: createPreview(image_url, width, height);
