This is a bug that occurs after updating from a version which uses XIBs to a version without XIBs. Please delete the App and reinstall it. Besides: The bug only occurs when installing an updated version via Xcode. If your customers update their App via App Store the bug should not occur.

I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, no change.

Also try to delete Xcode caches. So first uninstall app, then delete Xcode caches, then rebuild and reinstall

Problem is that Xcode won't delete xibs from cache...
