it is a git submodule, could you run git submodule update --init --recursive
to fetch it?
from crun.
I'll need to check how github deals with submodules when fetching the tarball
from crun.
so I don't think git sub module is feasible, as the git directory is striped in a tag archive. Additionally running git submodule breaks convention in the build system I'm using. An alternative is to create a formal release and include an archive. Since you're using autotools this could be accomplished easily using ./autogen.sh && ./configure && make dist
then uploading the subsequent tar file to a named release.

I've tagged a new release since there was much fixed/added since 0.3:

Could you check if this solves the issue you've seen?

and thanks to have pointed out the issue. From now on, crun will use the more formal release process :-)
