I don't think we need to be too pedantic on moving everything everywhere. I doubt conda is the big time stuck here. Feel free to go ahead if you'd like but also feel free to move to other things if you need to!

Sorry I was too quick with my title, should be mamba not mambabuild.

I was wondering if it makes sense to replace conda with mamba here to speed up the creation.

I went though the images again and it seems like they don't use conda install too much so I'm not sure if it makes sense to change it to mamba install and risk breaking something. Closing this for now.
