This feedstock is building for VS2008 and VS2015. First job in https://ci.appveyor.com/project/ax3l/conda-boost-linking/build/1.0.1 uses the VS2008 package but builds the dependent project in VS2017. 2nd and 3rd jobs use VS2015 package.

Linking VS2008 libraries with VS2015 or 2017 is not supported.

So this feedstock is producing solely VS2008 packages?

@isuruf Just to check, I pushed a cuple of further combinations, all with VS2015, in https://ci.appveyor.com/project/ax3l/conda-boost-linking/build/1.0.3
There are still some resulting in linker issues although they are also in Release mode and fully x64, e.g. this one: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/ax3l/conda-boost-linking/build/1.0.3/job/w27or9k4e23w2ojs
Anything else to watch out for? Are the requirements/compatibles for this feedstock documented somewhere?

Ah, looks like the python - VS - combination is also restricted: https://conda-forge.org/docs/buildwin.html
Python 2.7 only works with VS2008.
