Sorry, I know it's completely off topic but can you give an advice regarding benchmarking different concurrent implementation of FooCounter with Scalameter? How it would be possible to measure Throughput, waiting time per thread?

The book has been announced and is available for pre-order: https://www.packtpub.com/application-development/learning-concurrent-programming-scala

For the FooCounter
, you would need to measure the different running times. There is an explanation and an example in the Chapter 9 of the book. Also, I don't know if you saw the ScalaMeter website, but it contains an in-depth docs:

It's going to be one of the first book on this topic. I've signup a pre-order and looking to get the book.

Sorry for the inconvenience. In this case, I know that it doesn't work because the book is not uploaded yet - last changes are being incorporated. It will be uploaded in the next few days. You will be able to download it as soon as we complete the upload.
In general, I don't know how the Packt website works - you would need to contact the Website staff there and ask them directly why there isn't a better error message, or for other specific questions.

Too bad I was hoping to get it sooner.
I've read on the site that the book would be available after the book is published.
from learning-examples.
Yes, and it is scheduled to be published in November.
Sorry for the imprecise information - I would suggest that you contact the website team, and let them know that the message is misleading.
In any case, if it makes you feel better, I don't think you will have to wait very long.
