@mrlacey were you able to run them locally in debug mode on your setup at least?

I have a lot of errors when trying to build, but as I know there are other build problems, I'm just working around them for now.
I didn't want to confuse things with other build problems when there are related issues already being investigated. I'm hoping that when known issues are addressed it'll take care of what's causing my problems.
It's also not blocking me from my test-related explorations.

This is a very curious error message. I'll take a look to see where that comes from.

Looks like this is an issue with Uno itself, or something Uno has built on top of (maybe Xamarin). A minimal repro was created and an issue was filed here: unoplatform/Uno.SourceGeneration#159

Thanks @Arlodotexe, nice find! FYI @jeromelaban.

For now should we just not build the Mac/iOS heads in the CI as part of the release configuration? That way we can get our CI up and running. I can update unoplatform/uno#43 to do that.

So here's a workaround: unoplatform/Uno.SourceGeneration#159

Still, I'm interested in the scenario for this. Is it a scenario that will happen for end-developers? Or is it specific to this repository's solutions?

Seems that this could happen for any projects which have their own custom source generators, not coming from a nuget package. I could see this issue coming up again elsewhere
