Hi, thanks for the reply.
I tried those https urls and they work indeed.
The place I actually want it to work is in the socket api, and that does not seem to be supported.
Am I wrong?

Not a CoinCap contributor, but i just made a few HTTPS requests and got responses. Give it a try?

As @lucasjkr noted above, our API and website are available over both HTTP and HTTPS. This gives developers the most flexibility when implementing our API.
