I am using Firefox and have same problem: Submission timed out. Please try again.
The problem exists with Run Tests too.

@JelenaSparic That's something else, see #18 and the wiki page on submission timeouts.

Has this ever worked for you? It is odd that it works for tests and not submissions. This is likely an issue with IE since we don't really test on it often (less than 1% of our users are using it)

It's never worked for me while using my work computer. That said, I'll give it a test on my home PC sometime. I can submit while at work on my personal laptop, using both Firefox and Chrome. I wouldn't be shocked if it were an IE issue. Unfortunately, someone important has to retire before they'll let us use better browsers.

When I type www.codewars.com as url I get a DNS resolution error. I can only access the site if I google it and click the link from the Google results. And then it won't let me submit the first problem so I can sign up. Tried it on Chrome and Mozilla, and on two separate computers, and it does the same thing. Turned anti-virus (Avast) off, but still not "connecting to server".

@jhoffner well maybe it is the other way around - users just can't use code wars from IE, that is the reason for so small usage number. I just tried to sign up after submitting correct solution to the sign up test - it showed "Saving progress and loading next step" and just returned to the same sign up test. Tried this both with Edge and IE. Does this really mean that users are forced to install Chrome or Firefox in order to use Code wars? I hope this will be fixed...

@prokurors the landing page issue wasn't an IE specific issue. That should be resolved. IE is still not the most ideal browser to use on CW but it should work. According to our logs we seem to have users doing kata with IE.

The 1% (actually 1.5%) usage number came from our landing page, which means only 1.5% of new users trying to signup are on IE.
