I don't think we want this in the core feature set of toastr, but I agree its an ideal candidate for an extension to it. Some tips for approaching it would be to use jQuery to locate all active toasts and use the jQuery stop API (like I do on a 1 off basis now) to stop the fadeOut.

This whole toast disappearing gets tricky because there are so many different behaviors. For your use case I generally give some options such as just make it sticky with a close button or have it timeout after a longer period of time. If the messages to the user are really important, then they probably shouldnt be toasts ... instead they should be dialogs that require action (or a sticky toast). Thats the user story I usually build.
